Wander Over Yonder Wiki

Princess Demurra is the ruler of a medieval-inspired planet. In "The Hero," Sir Brad Starlight tricked Wander and Sylvia into helping him on a quest through the Labyrinth of Delusion, alleging King Draykor had kidnapped Demurra for an arranged marriage. Upon reaching the castle to rescue her, she scolds Brad as an obsessive childhood friend in denial. Demurra wasn't captive at all and engaged to Draykor because she loved him.

In "The Gift," Demurra and Draykor are shown eating with their three young children. They have a son and two daughters.

Personality[]

Princess Demurra is shown to be gentle, compassionate, and friendly. She soothes King Draykor's temper, and unshackles Wander and Sylvia after clearing up the misunderstanding of her wedding. Despite being frustrated with Brad Starlight, she tries to reconcile with him and "just be friends." However, she's perfectly capable in her own right, effortlessly overcoming Brad during an attempted kidnapping.

Demurra has a pragmatic view of life and love. She explains to Brad "life isn't a fairytale," and shares sentiments with her husband on how relationships "take a lot of work."
