"So, cat-monkey, how do you and my sister know each other?"
Phil is a Zbornak who appears in the Season 2 episode "The Family Reunion". He's the brother of Bill, Gil and Sylvia, the show's deuteragonist, the son of Dorothy and Sylvia's Father, and the grandson of Sylvia’s Grandmother.
Phil is a male Zbornak with a green body and red mane. Like all male Zbornaks, he's bulky and has a pointy snout, which is darker than the rest of his body. He also wears a dark cyan undershirt with white stripes above the shoulders as well as bandages, black arm warmers and a dark cyan and white cap which is rotated 90 degrees.
At some point, Dorothy gave birth to Phil and raised him, his sister and his two brothers with the help of her husband. His father then passed away.
Like his brothers, mother and grandmother, Phil lives on the Zbornak Planet and stays at home. One of his interests include watching TV and lifting weights.
Like his brothers, Phil is feisty and easily aggravated (as seen near the end of the episode, when he overheard Sylvia and Dorothy's conversation and asked the former if she was calling him stupid). He can often be seen getting into arguments that escalate into physical fights (which are sometimes meant to be playful) with his brothers and occasionally his sister. However, despite this, he has a soft side, just like most, if not all of his other family members, seeing how he teared up at the end of the episode. Despite this, he concluded that Wander and Sylvia don't get paid anything for helping people after the former told him they are rewarded with "just the warm satisfaction of knowing [their] friends are happy".
He also seemed to be the most interested in his sister's life, as he asked Wander more questions than anyone else during dinner. When Sylvia told him that she and Wander "thwart villains", he assumed that they beat them up. Additionally, Phil likes sports, as he was seen lifting a dumbbell and inquired if Wander benches multiple times.
Sylvia is Phil's sister, and they tend to get into arguments that escalate into physical fights (which are sometimes meant to be playful) with the rest of his brothers, as shown in the episode. Other than that, not much is known about how they usually act around each other.
Phil didn't initially react to Wander at all when they first met. After Wander became their guest, Phil kept insisting that he's actually a cat-monkey and inquired if he benches twice throughout the episode.
When Wander was telling the Zbornaks what he and Sylvia have been up to, Phil was the one asking the most questions, and when Wander told him they are rewarded with "just the warm satisfaction of knowing [their] friends are happy" for helping people, Phil concluded that he and Sylvia don't get paid anything.
According to Sylvia, Dorothy goes easy on him and his brothers, allowing him to stay at home, unlike her. Whenever Phil gets into a fight, Dorothy seems to ignore it, interfering only when absolutely necessary. Aside from that, it's unknown what their relationship is like.
Bill and Gil
Bill and Gil are Phil's brothers, and they tend to get into arguments that escalate into physical fights (which are sometimes meant to be playful) which occasionally involve Sylvia, as shown in the episode. Other than that, not much is known about how they usually act around each other.
It's unknown what their relationship was like.
Whenever Phil gets into a fight, his grandmother seems to ignore it, just like Dorothy, with the exception being that she isn't seen interfering at all. Aside from that, it's unknown what their relationship is like.
- Phil has the longest name out of all Dorothy's male children, tied with Bill.
